In our imaginary bus ...

We did this while goin through the tips for writing Written Composition.

Fungi

Mushrooms are examples or fungi. Fungi is a category under the big group: Living Things. They do not make their own food. they feed on others.

Observation on the growth of our plants

Look I can leaves protuding out of the seeds! Why? Because they ahve received water and air. Now that they have leaves, they are able to make their own food by absorbing sunlight. The initial stage of growth, the plants do not receive food as we do not feed them with fertilisers.

Here we are planting our seeds. Some had their seeds in plastic cups while others have theirs in small rounded containers.

How to we plant the seeds:

1. Wet some cotton wool.
2. Put some cotton wool into the container.
3. Lay the seeds onto the wet cotton wool.
4. You can place then in the open or in the enclosed area.

Take Note:
During germination, seeds do not require sunlight. So, we can place them anywhere. Sunlight is only absorb by the plant when leaves start growing.
